RED SOFT, a Russian developer, and Smart Engines, a research and development company, have confirmed the correct joint operation of the RED OS and Smart ID Engine, Smart Code Engine, and Smart Document Engine document recognition systems. Smart Engines software solutions enable automatic recognition of IDs, business documents, bank cards and barcodes.
RED OS is a Russian Linux family operating system for servers and workstations, that provides a universal environment for application software. The product is certified by the FSTEC of Russia (№4060 of 12.01.2019), that confirms its compliance with information security requirements and allows its use in government information systems. RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases of the Ministry of Communications of Russia (No.3751).
Smart ID Engine extracts data from Russian passports, driver's licenses and more than 1,700 other types of ID documents from 210 jurisdictions around the world in over 100 languages. The Smart Document Engine quickly and reliably recognizes data from initial, business, statutory, accounting, tax, notary, legal, insurance and banking documents, as well as questionnaires and forms. Smart Code Engine provides automatic scanning and data extraction of all types of bank cards, linear and matrix barcodes, machine readable zone (MRZ) of passport and visa documents. Smart Engines software solutions are registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software (#9304, #9617, #9618).
