Within the framework of the cooperation agreement, the Russian developers "NPK Katharsis" and RED SOFT tested the compatibility of their products. Tests have confirmed the full functionality of the software complex "Katarsis" under the Russian operating system RED OS. As a result, a bilateral certificate of compatibility was signed.
The “Katarisis” software is a full-functional solution for automating the government executive body in the field of employment. Operated in 75 regions of the Russian Federation. Registered in the Unified Register of Russian software and databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russian federation (Reg.# 1545).
RED OS is a multiuser, multitask general-purpose operating system for servers and workstations, which provides a universal environment for the applications. The product is certified by FSTEC of Russia (Cert. No. 4060, dated January 12, 2019), which confirms its compliance with the requirements of information security and allows its use for Government information systems. The RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian software and databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia (reg. No. 3751).
The compatibility of the two products is already bringing results. As part of the transition to domestic software, specialists of "NPK Catharsis" and "RED SOFT" companies, together with the Information Technology Department of the Orenburg Region and the Information Technology and Information Protection Division of the regional Ministry of Labor and Employment, tested the compatibility of the Employment Service Information System and the RED OS operation system. Diagnostics of all modes of operation of the test instance of information system within the local network of the Ministry of Labor and Employment of the Orenburg Region brought positive results. In January 2019, the Central Employement Center of the Orenburg Region started the commercial operation of the Russian operating system RED OS.

“Since January 2019, the Employment service of the Orenburg region has been replacing operating systems in accordance with the plan for switching to domestic software approved in 2018. In cooperation with the representatives of the developer and integrator we have worked out the interaction mechanism to eliminate emerging issues of compatibility of software products. There is an active training of retraining of specialists of the employment service on the basis of GAU DPO "Training Center of the Ministry of Labor and Employment of the Orenburg Region".

“Existing regulations put forward new requirements for software compatibility with operating systems, available in the Russian software registry. Given the significant spread of our solutions among the employment and social welfare agencies, we are working to fulfill these requirements. We are satisfied that at present the full-functional operation of our solutions is also provided within the RED OS environment. We hope that RED SOFT will further support the work of our software' users”.
