Russian developers RED SOFT and the Security Code continue to develop technological cooperation. Specialists of the companies tested the compatibility of the RED OS operating system (by RED SOFT) and the Sobol 4.2 software&hardware solution (by the Security Code). Tests confirmed the correct operation of the solution under the operating system. Earlier, the compatibility of the RED OS and the Continent-AP cryptoprotection tool was confirmed.
RED OS is a multiuser, multitask general-purpose operating system for servers and workstations, which provides a universal environment for the applications. The product is certified by FSTEC of Russia (Cert. The RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian software and databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia (reg. No. 3751).
"Sobol" solution is designed to prevent unauthorized access by outsiders to the resources of the protected computer. The solution protects against unauthorized load of the operating system (OS) from removable media (floppy disks, optical disks, USB devices, etc.), monitors the integrity of the software and hardware of the protected computer before loading the OS. The computer is blocked if, after turning it on, control was not passed to the Sobol electronic lock. It is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases of the Ministry of Communications of Russia.
“The development of cooperation between RED SOFT and the "Security Code” is a logical continuation of the work in the Committee for the Integration of Russian Software under the “Domestic Software” Assn. While participating in the development of a compatibility catalog, we regularly test products. According to the results of the tests, RED OS is now officially supported by the "Sobol" trusted boot unit, as well as by the new version of the Secret Net LSP infoprotection tool, which is currently undergoing inspection check. Accordingly, together with colleagues from Security Code, we are ready to offer joint solutions to the market”, Rustam Rustamov, Deputy RED SOFT CEO.comments.
“The software package for working with the RED OS operating system is now delivered on the installation disc of the Sobol solution version 4.2. The established partnerships with RED SOFT allow us to promptly respond to customer requests and coordinate our steps in the Russian market of information protection tools”, the Security Code comments.
