RED SOFT, he Russian software developer, and VAD MERLION, one of the leaders on the Russian market, have signed a distribution agreement aimed to actively promote the Russian import-independent operating system RED OS.
RED OS is a multiuser, multitask general-purpose operating system for servers and workstations, which provides a universal environment for the applications. The product is certified by FSTEC of Russia (Cert. No. 4060, dated January 12, 2019), which confirms its compliance with the requirements of information security and allows its use for Government information systems and Personal Data systems up to 1 class inclusively. The RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian software and databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia (reg. No. 3751).
Thanks to cooperation with MERLION, RED SOFT expects to strengthen its position in the Russian digital technology market by promoting its products through a distributor channel.
“We pay special attention to cooperation with trade partners, as we are convinced that success depends not only on the quality of the product, but also on market availability and the level of service provided by the distributor. Cooperation with MERLION will allow us to achieve good results in this direction”, Rustam Rustamov, Deputy RED SOFT CEO, commented.
“Among our partners - system integrators, many work, deliver and implement projects of varying complexity for customers and structures that have a particular demand in the matter of import substitution, and choose Russian-made hardware and software systems to create or upgrade their IT infrastructure”, Mikhail Stepanyuk, Director of Software Department, MERLION, notes. “The beginning of partnerships with such a strong domestic IT solutions and services provider as RED SOFT is a logical step that is taken in the right direction.”
