“MVP Svemel” and “RED SOFT” confirmed the compatibility and correctness of functioning of the “Zircon office” software (by “MVP Svemel”) under the operating system RED OS (by RED SOFT).
The tests conducted also confirmed the compatibility of the Zirkon DBMS with the RED OS operating system and the Red Database DBMS with the Zircon 36 ST terminal access software (PKTD Zirkon 36 CT).
RED OS is a multiuser, multitask general-purpose operating system for servers and workstations, which provides a universal environment for the applications. The product is certified by FSTEC of Russia (Cert. No. 4060, dated January 12, 2019), which confirms its compliance with the requirements of information security and allows its use for Government information systems. The RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian software and databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia (reg. No. 3751).
Red Database DBMS is a modern Russian industrial open source DBMS. The product is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases under №1. Red Database DBMS is certified by FSTEC of Russia, which allows its use in the government information systems up to and including protection class 1 and personal data information systems up to the level 1 of personal data security inclusive.
“Zircon office” is an office software package designed for processing electronic documents. The product functionality allows processing various types of documents: texts, spreadsheets, databases, etc. Registered in the Unified Register of Russian software and databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia (# 1497).
“Zircon DBMS” is an object-relational database management system operating as a client-server that implements mandatory access control at the row level. Registered in the Unified Register of Russian software and databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia (No. 1707).
PKTD "Zirkon 36CT" as part of the operating system "Zircon 36C", terminal access software "Zircon 36T", the software package "Administration" is a software tool for protecting against unauthorized access to restricted access information containing information constituting a state secret with a degree of secrecy "top secret", stored and processed on servers, and the delimitation of user access to resources of the local computer network, which includes virtual user's and service domains. Registered in the Unified Register of Russian software and databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia (No. 1437).
“RED SOFT” and ZAO “MVP“ Smemel” are members of the Committee for the integration of Russian software under the “Domestic Software” assn., whose goal is to popularize Russian software on the basis of specially developed catalog of compatibility of domestic products. The work within the Committee brought the positive results as testing the Zirkon Office and Zirkon DBMS packages with the OS RED operating system, as well as the Red Database with the Zirkon 36 ST terminal access software system", - Rustam Rustamov, deputy RED SOFT CEO, commented.
Alexander Fedichkin, Deputy General Director of Svemel Company, emphasized that due to the small number of office packages in the software market, the importance of compatibility of existing and recognized by customers office packages, such as Zircon Office, with various software solutions, increases many times over. The work on the compatibility of domestic software products with Russian information security tools will significantly increase the level of information security of the government customers' information systems.
