The Ufa Radioelectronics College was granted the RED SOFT competence centre status

The Ufa College of Radioelectronics, Telecommunications and Security (UCRTS) was granted the status of the competence center of the Russian developer RED SOFT, which entitles the institution to provide the education on the following programs:
- local and network administration, configuration and maintenance of RED OS;
- basics of work with RED OS.

In addition, students of "Network and System Administration" and "Provision of Information Security of Telecommunication Systems" will study and actively use the Russian operating system RED OS in the training process, including the development of information security systems. RED OS is a Russian Linux family operating system for servers and workstations, providing a universal environment for the application software. The product is certified by FSTEK of Russia (№4060 of 12.01.2019), which confirms its compliance with information security requirements and allows its use in state information systems. RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases of the Ministry of Communications of Russia (№3751).

"RED SOFT is concerned and actively working to develop cooperation with educational institutions. Such cooperation may result in training highly qualified specialists that are in demand in the IT market", Rustam Rustamov, Deputy RED SOFT CEO, said.

"The creation of the training center gives students and citizens of any age an opportunity to master advanced domestic technologies and to implement their competencies, both in public authorities and in many other companies with the public stake, in administration and automation of business processes, focused on Russian software from the register", - Alexander Arefiev, Deputy Director for Development and Innovation of UCRTS, comments.
