Testing was completed, which confirmed the compatibility of Rutoken solutions with RED OS 7.2.
The specialists of Active and RED SOFT conducted the next series of test procedures, which confirmed the compatibility of USB tokens and Rutoken smart cards with the latest version 7.2 of the RED OS operating system.
In particular, the following were tested: Rutoken S / Rutoken S micro; Rutoken Lite / Rutoken Lite micro; Rutoken EDS / EDS 2.0 / EDS PKI / EDS micro; Rutoken EDS Smart Card; Rutoken EDS Bluetooth; Rutoken 2151; Rutoken 2151 smart card; Rutoken EDS 2.0 2100; Rutoken EDS 2.0 3000.
Based on the results of the tests, a certificate was signed confirming the correctness of the joint work of the solutions. Rutoken products are recommended as key carriers in the RED OS environment. Tokens and smart cards can be used as secure hardware storage of key information, including for authentication in the OS, as well as for creating an electronic signature.
Rutoken is Russia's first fully domestic line of hardware products and solutions for authentication and electronic signature. Rutoken's card operating system, Rutoken drivers for Windows, Rutoken Plugin, Rutoken KeyBox are listed in the Unified Register of Russian Software. Products and solutions of Rutoken have all the necessary certificates of the FSB and FSTEC of Russia.
RED OS is a Russian, Linux-family, general-purpose operating system for servers and workstations. The product is certified by FSTEC of Russia (Cert. No. 4060, dated January 12, 2019), which confirms its compliance with the requirements of information security and allows its use for Government information systems and Personal Data systems up to class 1 inclusively. The RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian software and databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia (reg. No. 3751).
Based on the results of the work, the Russian developer RED SOFT and the Active company recommend their products for use in the commercial and government segments.
