Doctor Web reports that Dr.Web products are now compatible with the Russian operating system RED OS 7.1 MUROM, developed by RED SOFT. The corresponding certificate was signed after successful tests of Dr.Web on the RED OS - based computers.
RED OS operating system, based on the Linux kernel, is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software of the Ministry of Communications of Russia and meets Russian information security regulation. Among the most important features of RED OS are technological independence and sanction tolerance.
The following products, included in the Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite, passed the compatibility tests with RED OS: Dr.Web Anti-virus for Linux and Dr.Web Anti-virus for UNIX file servers. No problems were revealed in the functioning and interaction of the software of two Russian manufacturers, and Dr.Web was recommended as an information protection software for the RED OS 7.1 MUROM.
"Successful compatibility tests of RED OS and Dr.Web anti-virus software is an important step not only for developing partnerships between the two companies, but also for the entire IT industry. The qualitative unification of Russian products, which have proved their effectiveness, demonstrate the maturity of the domestic proposal. We are full of confidence that within the import substitution policy, demand will not keep us waiting, "- Rustam Rustamov, Deputy CEO of RED SOFT says.
