In line with an agreement on technological cooperation, russian developers Infotecs and RED SOFT conducted compatibility tests of their products. The test results confirmed the correct operation of the ViPNet Client 4 for Linux (version 4.6) and ViPNet CSP Linux 4.4 (by InfoTex) software under the RED OS operating system (by RED SOFT).
The ViPNet Client for Linux software package is designed to protect the workplaces of corporate information systems and remote users and provides protection against unauthorized access to information during data exchange via communication channels that support TCP / IP protocol, by encrypting it.
ViPNet CSP Linux is a Russian cryptographic provider that allows to create keys for electronic signatures, their generation and verification, data hashing, encryption and data origin authentication.
RED OS is a Russian, Linux-family, general-purpose operating system for servers and workstations. The product is certified by FSTEC of Russia (Cert. No. 4060, dated January 12, 2019), which confirms its compliance with the requirements of information security and allows its use for Government information systems and Personal Data systems up to 1 class inclusively. The RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian software and databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia (reg. No. 3751).
“There is a long-term cooperation between RED SOFT and Infotecs. We regularly test new versions of our products. Compatibility with information protection tools is a priority for ensuring the security of users in the environment of the RED OS. We thank our colleagues from Infotecs for the opportunity to solve this problem”, Rustam Rustamov, Deputy RED SOFT CEO, commented.
