LANIT-Ural (the part of the LANIT group) and the Russian developer RED SOFT signed a cooperation agreement. The partnership has allowed LANIT-Ural to expand the portfolio of domestic software products.
LANIT-Ural, a system integrator implementing projects in the field of transition to domestic software, has developed the KIPARIS methodology for migrating government authorities and state-owned companies to Russian software. Thanks to a verified methodology and accumulated experience, the implementation of migration projects goes predictably and in a short time, the work of the authorities is not interrupted, the quality of public services is maintained.
The KIPARIS methodology has proven itself while executing projects in the interests of the authorities of the Chelyabinsk Region and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, as well as for the Ural State University of Economics. The high level of implementation of these projects was confirmed by the diplomas “The Best Project in the Field of Import Substitution” of the All-Russian Competition “PROF-IT”, organized by the Expert Center of an Electronic State.
RED OS is a multiuser, multitask general-purpose operating system for servers and workstations, which provides a universal environment for the applications. The product is certified by FSTEC of Russia (Cert. No. 4060, dated January 12, 2019), which confirms its compliance with the requirements of information security and allows its use for Government information systems. The RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian software and databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia (reg. No. 3751). In course of the project on migration of the infrastructure of one of the Russian regions authoriries to the Russian RED OS, LANIT-Ural and RED SOFT specialists created a test laboratory with a full-fledged pilot infrastructure, developed and successfully tested programs and methodologies. Upon completion of this project, the companies plan to share their experience with other regions.
