Republic of Dagestan and RED SOFT announced a cooperation

February 15, 2019, a solemn signing of a memorandum of cooperation took place on the fields of the Investment Forum in Sochi between the Ministry of Information, Communication and Mass Communications of the Republic of Dagestan and the Russian developer RED SOFT. The parties announced their intentions to promote domestic software on the Russian market, while the import substitution of software in government bodies of the Republic of Dagestan will be the main direction of joint work. The agreement also provides that "RED SOFT" should conduct some related actions in order to effectively implement domestic software in the region.

It is worth mentioning that RED SOFT has more than 15 years of experience in implementing projects in the field of data storage and management based on its own import-independent technological product stack, including the RED OS operating system and Red Database DBMS.

“Currently, more than 5,000 software products have been listed in the Register of domestic software. These are Russian companies developing Russian software. The implementation of measures for the transition of the state authorities of the republic to the use of domestic software will trigger the development of young professionals and organizations of small and medium-sized businesses of the republic. Cooperation with RED SOFT will provide vast experience in the effective implementation of domestic software”, - Sergei Snegirev, Minister of Informatization, Communication and Mass Communications of the Republic of Dagestan said.
