Russian developers Aktiv Company and RED SOFT continue to cooperate in order to implement the import substitution program. The next stage of partnership development was marked by the confirmation of compatibility of the Rutoken SCR 3001 smart card reader with the RED OS operating system.
The joint solution of Aktiv Company and RED SOFT can be used for e-signatures of individuals, in electronic health care systems and in e-banking. Rutoken SCR 3001 smart card reader complies with ISO 7816 and Microsoft PC/SC standards, is based on Activ Company's proprietary circuitry solution and has software with a feature of trusted upgrade ensuring high level of security. The reader is designed to use any type of microprocessor smart cards that meet ISO standard, 7816-3 Class A, B, C (5V, 3V, 1.8V), cards with operation protocols T=0 and T=1.
RED OS is a Russian Linux family operating system for servers and workstations, that provides a universal environment for application software. The product is certified by the FSTEC of Russia (№4060 of 12.01.2019), that confirms its compliance with information security requirements and allows its use in government information systems. RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases of the Ministry of Communications of Russia (No.3751).
