Sitonika and RED SOFT have confirmed the compatibility and correct operation of the SITONICA SR65R server line based on the RICOR R-BD-E5R-V4-16EA motherboard (manufactured by Sitonika) with the RED OS operating system (produced by RED SOFT). As a result of testing, a bilateral certificate of compatibility was signed.
Sitonika is the official manufacturer and copyright holder of the SITONICA SR65R server line, built on the basis of Intel Xeon processors and a motherboard of Russian origin. The SITONICA SR65R line of servers is designed to build highly reliable computing systems of primary and secondary levels for a wide range of missions.
RED OS is a multiuser, multitask general-purpose operating system for servers and workstations, which provides a universal environment for the applications. The product is certified by FSTEC of Russia (Cert. No. 4060, dated January 12, 2019), which confirms its compliance with the requirements of information security and allows its use for Government information systems and Personal Data systems up to 1 class inclusively. The RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian software and databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia (reg. No. 3751).
“The results of testing the SITONICA SR65R servers line on the RED OS operating system open up new opportunities for both users interested in import substitution of software and for RED SOFT and Sitonika seeking to expand the compatibility list of their products,” comments Rustam Rustamov, Deputy RED SOFT CEO.
“At the moment, the SITONICA SR65R server fully meets the requirements of the Russian legislation for the level of localization, which allows it to be considered a product manufactured in Russia. Cooperation with RED SOFT in the field of server software allows us not only to equip the servers with the domestic RED OS operating system, but also to produce entire computing systems based on them”, Anton Lyubavin, technical director of Sitonika, comments.
