The hyper-converged infrastructure based on the Rosplatforma software fully supports RED OS as a guest operating system

Within the framework of the partnership, Rosplatforma and RED SOFT carried out compatibility tests of their products. The developers confirmed the full-fleged and uninterrupted operation of software systems under RED OS operating system ( by RED SOFT) in the virtualization environment based on R-Virtualization and R-Warehouse products ( by Rosplatforma).

"R-Virtualization" server virtualization system contains a hypervisor with a GUI control interface, support for high availability and live migration of virtual machines and other functions required for industrial applications. "R-Warehouse" Distributed Storage System allows to build on the base of standard x86-servers with internal disks fault-tolerant software-defined enterprise level warehouse that is capable to replace classic SAN and NAS systems.

"R-Virtualization" and "R-Warehouse" can run on the same nodes simultaneously, forming a hyper-converged cluster that combines data processing and storage to guarantee reliability and performance for enterprise-class workloads.

RED OS is a multi-user, multitasking general-purpose operating system for servers and workstations, providing a universal environment for application software. The product has a certificate of FSTEC of Russia (№4060 of 12.01.2019), which confirms its compliance with information security requirements and allows its use in government information systems. RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases of the Ministry of Communications of Russia (№3751).
