The "LANIT Network Academy" training center (a part of LANIT group of companies) became the authorized training center for "RED SOFT" and started training specialists in administration and work in the RED OS.
The training courses will suit both for the experienced IT-specialists, who are planning to support the RED OS operating system, and for the novice Linux system administrators and students of higher schools in specialized disciplines. The first training of network administrators on the course "Local and Network Administration, Configuration and Maintenance of RED OS" has already been carried out. The portfolio of the LANIT Network Academy also includes training of operating system users under the program "Basics of work in RED OS".
RED OS is the RED SOFT flagship product; the Russian general-purpose operating system of the Linux family for servers and workstations. It is FSTEC of Russia certificate holder (cert. №4060 dated 12.01.2019) that confirms its compliance with information security requirements and allows its use in government information systems and personal data information systems up to class 1 inclusive. RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases of the Ministry of Communications of Russia (№3751).
Training is provided by experienced certified tutors. Each participant of the RED OS authorized courses is provided with materials on all subjects studied, and upon completion of the training - with the certificate by RED SOFT and a document on education by "LANIT Network Academy".
Yulia Shikova, Director of "LANIT Network Academy": "The course on import substitution resulted in increased demand for specialists who can work with operating systems of Linux family - especially with Russian distributives. Last year we trained 3 times more students in domestic software administration than in 2018, and this trend remains. Our goal is to help companies to make a fast but smooth transition to import substituting software. Partnership with RED SOFT enabled us to expand the range of services offered for training IT specialists and users of Russian Linux systems".
Rustam Rustamov, Deputy RED SOFT CEO: "The rapid development of the domestic IT market raises the issue of training specialists to work with Russian software products. This is one of the priorities for the entire industry. I am sure that RED SOFT and the "LANIT Network Academy" training center will prepare highly qualified personnel at the professional level".
