“Import Substitution 2019: Real Experience”

February 20, 2019, TAdviser, an expert center on government and business automation in Russia, held a conference "Import Substitution 2019: Real Experience".

Within the event framework, Rustam Rustamov, Deputy RED SOFT CEO shared the experience of import substitution on the example of the implementation of the Russian operating system RED OS in the Multifunctional Center of Kursk region. A brief presentation of the new release of RED OS - version 7.2 also took place.

The final part of the conference brought together experts to discuss the most pressing issues facing the industry, namely:

- why import substitution is moving slowly;

- what vendors and integrators must do to speed it up;

- what pitfalls import substitution meets on its way;

- what could have been done, but not donne yet by the state.
