"Dubna" State University has entered into an agreement on academic and scientific-technical cooperation with the RED SOFT, a Russian developer and provider of IT solutions and services.
Students of the Institute of System Analysis and Management will get an opportunity to study and actively use the Russian operating system RED OS and the RED Database DBMS available with free licenses for the educational process.
RED OS is a Russian Linux family operating system for servers and workstations, that provides a universal environment for application software. The product is certified by the FSTEC of Russia (№4060 of 12.01.2019), that confirms its compliance with information security requirements and allows its use in government information systems. RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases of the Ministry of Communications of Russia (No.3751).
Red Database DBMS is a modern Russian industrial open source DBMS. The product is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases under №1. Red Database DBMS is certified by FSTEC of Russia, which allows its use in the government information systems up to and including protection class 1 and personal data information systems up to the level 1 of personal data security inclusive.

"Currently, the process of registration and transfer of 14 free licenses for the operation of the computer class is underway. The software will be installed on the Dubna University server.
