Russian companies DEPO Computers and RED SOFT presented a joint solution

DEPO Computers, the leader of the Russian IT market in the field of import substitution, and RED SOFT, the developer of the RED OS domestic operating system, completed a comprehensive testing of the joint solution. According to the test results, the full compatibility of the DEPO Neos CB201 PC ultracompact model and the RED OS 7.1 MUROM operating system was confirmed and a joint certificate was issued.

DEPO Neos CB201 - an office PC in a 1 dm3 case is built on the basis of a domestic DEPO motherboard. This computer model is part of the DEPO Peresvet line of automated workplaces, which was the first in Russia to receive the certificate of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation No. 37530/11 confirming the production of industrial products in the territory of the Russian Federation in accordance with the criteria of domesticity for computing equipment defined in the resolution No 719 of the Government of Russian Federation.

DEPO Neos CB201 PC handles 2 to 8 GB of DDR3 standard memory and one hard drive or 2.5” solid-state drive. This model is notable for quiet operation and ultra low power consumption, due to the use of an external 65 W power supply unit and a passive cooling system for the case. The performance of the model allows you to work with standard applications and solve specialized tasks. The package includes a special bracket for mounting the PC on the back of the monitor, as well as a stand for a stable vertical installation on the user's workplace.

RED OS is a multiuser, multitask general-purpose operating system for servers and workstations, which provides a universal environment for the applications. The product is certified by FSTEC of Russia (Cert. No. 4060, dated January 12, 2019), which confirms its compliance with the requirements of information security and allows its use for Government information systems. The RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian software and databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia (reg. No. 3751).
