SCADA TRACE MODE is compatible with RED OS

AdAstra and RED SOFT, Russian developers, have successfully tested the compatibility of the TRACE MODE SCADA for Linux executive module (manufactured by AdAstra) with the RED OS operating system (by RED SOFT).

For testing, we used Lin MTB TRACE MODE 6.10.2 and the 64-bit version of the RED OS operating system installed both directly on the PC and on the VMWare virtual machine in VMware Workstation 14 Player. Tests were performed on data exchange via a serial port and network with a number of controllers, the correct operation of the graphical interface, including 3d graphics, trends and a number of other functions. All tests showed positive results.

Starting from the next release, the RED OS operating system will be recommended for use with SCADA TRACE MODE for Linux.

SCADA TRACE MODE is a high-tech software system for the automation of technological processes (I&C DCS), telemechanics, dispatch, resource accounting (AMR) and building automation. TRACE MODE has been produced since 1992, translated into English and Chinese, works under Windows and Linux, is used in more than 30 countries of the world, in 49 industries and has the largest number (53,000 points) of productive installations. SCADA TRACE MODE is registered in the Unified Register of Russian software and databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia (Order of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation of 07.12.2017 No. 680, Appendix 1, No. 151, registry number 4119).

RED OS - Russian Linux-compatible distribution based on the RPM-format package base. The product is certified by FSTEC of Russia (Cert. No. 4060, dated January 12, 2019), which confirms its compliance with the requirements of information security and allows its use for Government information systems. The RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian software and databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia (reg. No. 3751).
