Zecurion, one of the biggest Russian developers of software for protecting information from internal threats, and RED SOFT, a Russian software developer, have signed a certificate of compatibility of their products.
The list of supported Linux distributions in Zecurion DLP has been extended with the popular operating system RED OS. The companies conducted a test, which resulted in the detection of the complete and correct operation of the Zecurion DLP information leakage protection system under the Russian operating system RED OS.
The Zecurion DLP software complex comprising of Traffic Control, Device Control and Discovery has a built-in archiving function, which keeps copies of all intercepted messages, emails, attached files, documents recorded on a USB device and printed out on printers. In addition to detecting and blocking information leaks, the DLP-system with the help of the behavioral analysis module (UBA) analyzes the actions of employees and identifies potentially dangerous activity. Zecurion DLP closely integrates with the privileged users supervision system Zecurion PAM (Privileged Access Management) and Zecurion SWG (Secure Web Gateway) to control access to web resources.
RED OS is a multiuser, multitask general-purpose operating system for servers and workstations, which provides a universal environment for the applications. The product is certified by FSTEC of Russia (Cert. No. 4060, dated January 12, 2019), which confirms its compliance with the requirements of information security and allows its use for Government information systems. The RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian software and databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia (reg. No. 3751).
“Prior to the release of our Linux agent, the segment of customer protection on the DLP market, where Linux is planned or already actively used in customers infrastructure on the computers of employees, was practically not occupied. We were the first to release a ful-functional and working solution that is fully integrated into Zecurion DLP and easily works in enterprise networks with sophisticated infrastructure”, Alexander Kovalev, deputy Zecurion CEO said. “The partnership with RED SOFT and ensuring compatibility with the popular RED OS once more underscores our technological leadership, and also shows that Zecurion supports import substitution with real products and will strive to provide Linux users with the maximum level of protection against information leaks.”
“The development of an affiliate program helps to improve products. The RED SOFT experience confirms that cooperation with partners allows us to achieve goals that are important not only for the company, but also for the market as a whole. This goal is the import substitution of software. RED OS and Zecurion DLP compatibility is an important step in this direction”, Rustam Rustamov, deputy RED SOFT CEO, comments.
